This lens boasts an internal focus design, ensuring the lens size remains constant while focusing, thereby reducing the visible effects of focus breathing.

Each lens in the XEEN series is multi-coated, ensuring excellent contrast, effective glare prevention, and color consistency to a factory standard. This allows for the seamless assembly of a lens set over time, with minimal color shift. The 16mm lens offers a wide angle of view on full-frame cameras and a narrower perspective on smaller formats, providing versatility for various shooting scenarios.

Constructed with durable metal, this lens is designed to withstand the rigors of daily production. It also incorporates a support feature to alleviate strain on your camera's lens port. The lens features dual right and left side focus and t-stop scales, enabling your focus puller to operate from either side of the lens without the need to flip the lens in the mount or deal with upside-down numerals.

The XEEN series lenses share common focus and iris gear ring positions, facilitating quicker lens changes as accessories like follow focus units or iris motors don't need repositioning. The uniform 114mm front diameter allows for swift lens changes without the need to swap out anti-reflection donuts or adapters to use the same matte box.

The non-rotating front design enables the use of optional clip-on matte boxes, while the clickless aperture ring ensures smooth iris pulls. With a minimum focusing distance of 11.8", this lens allows you to capture your subject up close.

The lens is equipped with 6K Ready Optics and full-frame coverage, ensuring high-resolution imaging. It also features a tightly color-matched, durable all-metal body, unified 40-degree iris rotation, and a unified 200-degree focus throw. Large, easy-to-read markings enhance usability, while the XEEN proprietary X-Coating Technology enhances image quality.

The lens features dual calibrated right and left side distance and t-stop scales, unified focus and aperture gear positions for easy follow focus use, and incredibly smooth and fully damped movement of focusing and aperture controls. The 11-bladed iris provides a rounded aperture for natural-looking highlights and bokeh.

This lens is a manual focus and iris lens, offering precise control over your shots. The focus ring rotates 200 degrees from close focus to infinity, providing a high degree of precision when adjusting focus. This lens does not support auto focus or auto iris capability.
