Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?PAUL S : The low price, compared to the grossly-overpriced Canon BG-R10, first drew me to this product. I have owned five battery grips for other Canon cameras (all DSLRs), both Canon brand and others. All of those worked just fine and lasted for many years with no malfunctions. So, I hope this one will be as good as others I have owned.RICHARD R : Cheaper than Canon brand and has good reviews.CARLOS H : I chose this battery grip because the price compare to the Canon one.RACHEL T : I've been wanting a battery grip for the extra battery but also to see if it helps with taking photos vertically. I always prefer OEM but at almost $400, I couldn't do Canon brand. Going to give this brand a try!NICOLAS M : Replacement PartsROBERTO S : Price and reviewTONY K : Because prices so goodTRAVIS M : Can't seem to get myself to pay $350 for a battery grip instead of just carrying extra batteries. I will try out the 3rd party version as I have only seen good reviews. $79 is a good price.KEVIN B : longer battery life with two batteries rather than oneJOHN S : Another photog recommended it, so …KIRKLAND B : sales recommendationLEROY J : Because a battery grip is something that will come in handy and the reviews are great for this one. Also saved money which during the holiday season is a wonderful thingSARAH F : Needed this for my EOS R5. Looking forward to getting it…Brad B : I have one already and, bought a second EOS R6 Mk2. Works well for far less money than Canon OEM.BRANDON C : Features comparable to the Canon Manufactured grip and on sale at a fraction of the price.JEFF G : I have full faith in Adorama and have not had any problems with Items they sell and I do not see the point in paying over 300.00 for a battery grip when this should do fine.ERIC R : This has good reviews and is less than a third of the Canon version's price.RICHARD P : Great price. Seems reliable enough from reviews.DERRICK C : I needed extended battery life. I just don’t need a $400 battery grip. When there’s really nothing special about spending so much extra money for the same functioning device.LOUIS G : Needed a battery grip for my cameraTHERESE A : Price was goodRICK M : Good price and good reviews.BRIAN B : To compare the feel vs no gripKRIS L : PriceWILLIAM B : Price.DAT D : for my canon r6 iiCHRISTINA S : I like having the extra grip space and just purchased a new camera.JACOB M : To use two batteries in my canon R6 mark ii and shoot vertically more efficientlyROGER R : Based on other reviews,ERIK R : Good priceRICHARD H : I am trying this as it has good reviews as a compatible product and is a fraction of the cost of the actual Canon Battery grip. An experiment that hopefully saves $250ANDRE W : I want to add a battery grip to my recently purchased Canon R6 Markii. I reviewed the comments and decided that saving $250 over the canon grip makes a lot of sense. I purchased Flash point grips for two other canon cameras, so I don't believe that using a non-canon model will be a problem.ELLIOTT L : I needed itMICHAEL K : Price savings over the canon version.MATT K : I have a Canon BG-R10 battery grip for my Canon R5, so I wanted to try this one for my R6 MK II.MICHELE W : I just purchased a new Canon R6 so I wanted a battery grip to balance out the weight with my heavier lenses.RONALD W : Price and Performance based upon reviews. Honest reviews are important.RONALD W : Lower price and performance based upon reviews. Honest reviews are important.Pat C : Labor Day sale, good reviews, much less cost than Canon offered. Good vertical grip, space for two batteries.GABRIEL C : CheaperLINDA C : I have a battery grip for my Canon 5DM4 and I'm so used to it. I miss not having the battery grip for my new Canon R6. Based on reviews, this is a good purchase.JEANETTE W : Great price compared to the Canon version and good reviews.GERALD K : Needed it.EDWARD T : Because it has a five star ratingTELMO M : My new R6 mark ii is so light in weight and I'm used to having a little more to make it feel more comfortable to me. A near perfect C41 kit, I just need to do more testing on the limits of re-using the blix solution.

The first thing to note is that C41 developing is a pretty standardized process, so the difference between this or that company isn't going to matter all that much in terms of quality. That said, I trust Rollei as a company, and the results have been very "predictable", which is a godsend when it comes to developing film. I chose the 2.5L kit, which I use alongside the Patterson 5-reel tank. What I do is split all the chemicals in half, mix the first half to make 1.25L of solution, and save the rest for a fresh new batch later. I then have just enough solution to develop four reels of 35mm film, or 2 reels of 120 film, at a time. And if you get the Cinestill accordion-style 1L containers, there's actually enough extra room to fit 1.25L of solution just fine. For the other half of the chemicals, I use those fillable "bag of wine" style bags (available on Amazon in a kit for like $10) to keep out the air so everything lasts longer (oxygen exhausts the chemicals more so than does light, just FYI). My only complaint (hence the 4 stars), and I haven't really tested the limits of it yet so I'll update once I do, is that it says the blix solution can only be re-used twice. That means if you're developing 4 rolls at a time (and splitting everything in half like me), you can only get 24 rolls out of the full kit, when it says theoretically you should be able to get 40 rolls. It doesn't really make sense because I'm using the minimum amount of solution for the rolls I'm developing at once, so I'm not really sure how you would get 40 rolls without re-using the blix more than twice. But such is life... Also, the instructions aren't super clear so to save you a little research/batch of mistakes, mix the developer at 120ºF and the blix at 125ºF. Also it says use the chemicals at 100ºF, but I usually go closer to 102ºF because you start to lose heat the second they're removed from the warming bath. Also, for the blix ? doing 4 rolls at a time ? I usually go 6min for the first batch, 7min on the second batch, and then 10min on the third batch. Seems to work just right. Overall a solid kit with again very predictable and high quality results!

No more labs.

I am not a chemist. It was easy to mix the stuff for c-41 in this kit. I got 31 of the 36 on my first roll to come out perfect.
