The TTL flash control of the Rolleiflex Hy6 offers optimum conditions for correctly exposed flash pictures. In conjunction with dedicated flash units by Metz and an SCA-3562 flash adapter, the camera's TTL sensor meters the flash light incident on the film or sensor with field-angle accuracy and free from parallax.

All available shutter speeds up to 1/500 s and 1/1000 s, respectively, are fully synchronized - a decisive advantage for shooting in daylight, filling in harsh shadows or reducing excessive subject contrast. A particularly useful feature of the Rolleiflex Hy6 is its additional additive flash exposure that is activated in conjunction with dedicated SCA flash units and the camera's automatic exposure control for even better exposure balance in daylight flash photography.
