This automatic input switching provides full redundancy, instantly transitioning to the alternate input if the current signal is lost, thus maintaining an uninterrupted audio stream.As an optional clock source, the MADI input offers precise synchronization, doubling as a thru-input for cascading multiple Micstasy units. With each Micstasy utilizing only 8 channels, the card allows for the pass-through of up to 56 additional channels. This cascading capability means that up to 8 Micstasy devices can be connected in series, with all 64 channels accessible at the MADI output of the last unit in the chain.Remote control of the Micstasy via MADI is made possible with the I64 MADI Card, which also facilitates the transmission of MIDI data over the same connection. When daisy-chaining devices, the card ensures a minimal delay of only 3 samples per Micstasy, which is expertly compensated for by the Delay Compensation feature, preserving the timing and coherence of your audio.The card's versatility extends to its ability to designate 8 channels as a digital return path, allowing audio to be sent back to the Micstasy's ADAT and AES outputs.
