After meticulous design and engineering, the M-32 AD 32-Channel High-End Analog to MADI/ADAT Converter from RME emerges as a professional-grade, advanced audio conversion solution. This sophisticated device is equipped with a comprehensive feature set, making it a powerhouse in the realm of audio conversion.
The M-32 AD is a precision instrument, boasting 32 channels of high-end AD conversion. It seamlessly blends superior analog circuit design with the latest converter chips and RME's proprietary SteadyClock technology. This combination results in state-of-the-art AD conversion, delivering unparalleled audio quality across all 32 channels.
This advanced converter is equipped with unique features such as analog limiters and three hardware reference levels up to +24 dBu. It supports MADI and ADAT I/O up to 192 kHz, and offers a variety of input options, including 6.3 mm TRS and D-sub inputs.
The M-32 AD is designed for remote control via MIDI and operates across a wide range of mains voltages. All these features are neatly packed into a compact 2U enclosure, making it an ideal choice for professional studio, stage, and broadcast applications.
The device's extraordinary limiter offers essential operational safety, capable of limiting an input's overload of up to 17 dB without audible distortion. This ensures that your audio remains crisp and clear, even in demanding situations.
The M-32 AD provides multichannel conversion in reference quality, setting a new standard in the price/performance ratio. It offers an impressive real-world signal-to-noise ratio of 116 dBA across all channels, thanks to its up-to-date converter technology.
RME's SteadyClock technology ensures pristine sound quality by efficiently suppressing jitter, making the device independent from the quality of external clock signals. The Intelligent Clock Control not only displays every clock status via flashing LEDs but also retains the last valid input sample rate in case of failure of the external source.
The M-32 AD is fully remote controllable and configurable via MIDI, and each unit's complete status can be monitored, including all the front panel's displays. The device also features optical and coaxial MADI inputs, and in case of failure of an input signal, the source is switched immediately, if a valid signal is present on the other input.
The M-32 AD's four ADAT outputs provide simple connectivity with other studio equipment, and all settings are retained when the unit is powered off. This high-end analog to MADI/ADAT converter is a testament to RME's commitment to delivering professional, advanced, and sophisticated audio equipment.
