Who would have thought...

In an emergency, a clear vessel sink was placed, not realizing the storage area under it was visually exposed. As an experiment I purchased the black foil to see if it would remedy the situation. After cutting and crumpling, I was able to afix the foil with double-sided tape to the granite and crumpled a ring around the drain. It reminds me of lava or tar ripples.

Swiss Army knife of lighting

If you don’t have this in you kit as a photographer or cinematographer you don’t know what your missing. Probably the most helpful, cheap, flexible tool for shaping light and solving problems. I’m not sure if there are other brands—but Rosco is the only one I’ll buy. Along with gaff tape and clothes pins it’s the best thing to have.
