A fusion of secondary color and 104 Tough Silk, the Roscolux Cyc Silk is a 20x24" sheet of high-quality light diffusing material, boasting a light transmission rate of 32%. As part of Rosco's premier range of filters, Roscolux, this product is crafted using a unique tri-extrusion process that ensures maximum durability and longevity, even under intense theatrical lighting conditions.

This process involves sealing the colored layer between two ultra-thin layers of clear film, significantly reducing dye migration and extending the effective lifespan of the product. Known as "Supergel" in international markets, Roscolux is currently the most widely utilized filter range globally, a testament to its superior performance and reliability.

The Roscolux Cyc Silk is composed of two types of plastic, with over 65% of the product made from co-extruded polycarbonate plastic, while the rest is deep dyed polyester. This composition sets it apart from ordinary color filters, which are typically manufactured by surface coating clear polyester plastic film. In such filters, the color is essentially painted onto the surface, making it susceptible to heat and physical abrasion, leading to quick fading and scratching.

However, with the Roscolux Cyc Silk, the dye is embedded within the material, ensuring its color remains vibrant and resistant to wear and tear. This product is available in sheets of 20in. X 24in. (50cm x 61cm) or rolls of 24in. X 25ft. (61cm x 7.62m). For larger dimensions, the Cinelux line of filters offers rolls of 48in. X 25ft. (122cm x 7.62m).
