This peach amber filter, with a higher yellow intensity than the 305 model, offers a light transmission rate of 79%. As part of Rosco's premier Roscolux range, this filter benefits from a unique manufacturing technology designed to ensure an extended lifespan, even under the intense heat of theatrical lights. This is achieved through a tri-extrusion process that combines three discrete layers. The colored layer is sealed between two microscopically thin layers of clear film, effectively minimizing dye migration and prolonging the filter's effective life. Known as "Supergel" in international markets, Roscolux is currently the most widely used filter range globally. The Roscolux Pale Apricot filter is made from two types of plastic, with over 65% of the filter composed of co-extruded polycarbonate plastic, while the remainder is deep dyed polyester. Unlike ordinary color filters, which are manufactured by surface coating clear polyester plastic film, the Roscolux Pale Apricot filter's color is not merely painted onto the surface. This unique process prevents the dye from being easily removed by heat or physical abrasion, thereby reducing the risk of quick fading and scratching. The Roscolux Pale Apricot filter is available in sheets of 20in. X 24in. (50cm x 61cm) or rolls of 24in. X 25ft. (61cm x 7.62m).
