The Rosco CalColor #4760 Magenta Filter is designed specifically to the spectral sensitivity of color film. This filter color is designed in 60 density, corresponding to the familiar 2 stop calibration. In color photography, three light-sensitive emulsion layers separately record the individual blue component of the spectrum.CalColor filter adjusts the transmission of these color components at the individual light source in a familiar and reliable manner. As a result, the cinematographer can exercise selective and predictable control over the image's coloration as rendered by the film.

Adorama green gel for lights

Although it didn't matter for the purposes it's used for, I was quite surprised and disappointed to open the package to find what clearly was a used item. The 2-ft.-square gel looks as though it was run over by miniature, very dull lawn perforator -- no holes, just hundreds of small, sharply-made dimples. And there are smudges, etc. Yet, someone went to the trouble of rolling it up into a mailing tube, which was further packed in an over-size box. The shipping department gets compliments; I don't know who at the store or warehouse failed to check the item. Anyway, these things happen occasionally, and Adorama has always been an excellent supplier. Yes, I would recommend them; we all make mistakes.
