Bought this from Adorama because it had the least shipping cost. These gels are an industry standard and useful for tweeking the color of the light of todays modern LED fixtures with out affecting the output. I use it on my microscope ringlight to match the daylight color of my overhead softbox.

I used it to add a warm tone to a LED light that was too cold. It was so successful that I covered my e-reader for a warmer reading light.

Used this to warm up some 5000K LED strips. It did the job and resulted in a close color temp to 2700K or 3000K. Not exactly the same but close enough.

Been using this stuff for decades. Rosco and Lee both hold up well, are robust (some off-brand stuff can be very thin) and the colors are right on. These make our LED daylight fresnels look like warm tungsten. 1/4 CTO gives you the look of classic 1k tungsten fresnels.

It's Rosco professional CTO. Been using this stuff for 25 years. It's on the money with it's photometrics, durable and necessary. Don't mess around with any others - Rosco or Lee gels and diffusions are the only way to go!

The Rosco Cinegel does an excellent job of color correcting cold white LEDs so it appears warmer and color balanced. Recommended.

I bought an LED torchiere lamp, but the light was too blue for me, so I used this filter to give it a warmer tone. It was a bit too orange when I covered the whole light source, so I cut some holes in it and now it looks great.

great for what I'm using it for -- film for bright white LEDs converted to warmer white.

I'm not using this gel for photographic purposes, but, rather, as a wrap around an LED ceiling flood to bring the tone temp from blue-glare to the warm-yellow of incandescent (23k to 25k). It works! I'm happy. Room looks much better, now! P.S. Great price and speed of delivery, too!

I read that attaching this filter to the flash gives warm light, something like candle light. I was surprise to see that it is so cheap, so I bought one. It was a great surprise to me. It is a sheet of this gel. You need to cut a piece in the size of your flash and attach it to your flash. I used a standard tape to attach it. It work great and the result is amazing! I am going to buy more filters in more colors to match different atmospheres. But if you want a candle light atmosphere - this is your filter!

The Cinegel Sun 1/2 CTO, 20x24" Color Correction Lighting Filter is a specialized tool designed for precise color correction in various lighting conditions. This filter effectively converts 5500 Degree K daylight to a warmer 3800 Degree K, making it an ideal choice when partial color correction is required or when the daylight falls below 4500 Degree K.
This Cinegel filter is optically clear, ensuring no compromise on the quality of your images. With a Mired shift of +81 and a transmission rate of 73%, it provides a subtle yet noticeable shift in color temperature. This filter also features a -0.5 stop reduction, allowing for better control over your exposure.
The Sun 85 & Neutral Density Filters, typically applied to windows, serve dual purposes of color correction and light intensity reduction. The RoscoSun 85, an amber filter, lowers the color temperature of daylight to balance with 3200 Degree K sources, ensuring a consistent color palette in your images or videos.
Rosco Neutral Density Filters are designed to reduce the level of exterior light, bringing it within the exposure range of interior light levels. This makes them an invaluable tool for shooting in challenging lighting conditions.
The Cinegel Sun 1/2 CTO, 20x24" Color Correction Lighting Filter also includes two additional RoscoSun materials that combine Sun 85 conversion with Neutral Density reduction. All materials used in this filter are deep-dyed for optical clarity, ensuring that your images retain their sharpness and detail.
The dimensions of this filter are extra wide at 57" x 21' (145 cm x 6.7 m), with sheets measuring 20" x 24" (50 cm x 61 cm), making it a versatile tool for a variety of shooting scenarios. Whether you're a professional photographer or a videographer, this color correction lighting filter is a must-have for achieving accurate and consistent color in your work.
