Not using as photography gels, but warmed our interior LED can lights and works great. Temp fix as we are in a rental and the can lights are all one fixture without the ability to replace the bulbs.

I used this to warm the color of an LED closet light, and a few layers worked pretty well for that purpose (the result is quite a bit dimmer too, but that's expected). I have no idea how this would work for stage lighting.

This film works as expected. Comes shipped in a roll. You can double them up to get 1/2 CTO in a pinch.

I use a small strip of this 1/4 CTO gel on my speedlite to get closer to sunset color. Looks a lot more natural than the bluish flash from the un-gelled speedlite, without making the model squint like they do with reflected sunlight or other continuous light sources.

It's a simple product but a no-brainer if you're using HMI's, HID's, Flourescents or daylight sources (and most all digital sensors "prefer" daylight, adding gain - and noise - to the blue channel for tungsten). With the range of affordable daylight gear out there, green spikes and blue casts are all over the place. TEST your daylight sources and have a range of minus green (from 1/8 up) and CTO handy... and make note of which fixtures or globes need what. CTO is what you need for fixtures that are in the 6500k range - minus green will take the green spike from fluorescents. (And 1/8, 1/4, or 1/2 CTO is a nice color warmer, too).

Before you embark on your next film or photography project, consider the Cinegel Sun 1/4 CTO, 20x24" Color Correction Lighting Filter. This high-quality filter is designed to convert 5500 Degree K daylight to a softer 4500 Degree K, making it an ideal choice when slight color correction is needed or when daylight falls below 4000 Degree K.
The Cinegel Sun 1/4 CTO filter is not just a color correction tool, but also a light intensity reducer. It's commonly applied to windows to balance the color and light intensity, ensuring your shots are always perfectly lit. With a Mired shift of +42 and a light transmission rate of 81%, this filter subtly adjusts the lighting without drastically altering the scene.
This filter is part of the RoscoSun 85 series, which is known for its amber filters that lower the color temperature of daylight to balance with 3200 Degree K sources. It's also compatible with Rosco Neutral Density Filters, which are designed to reduce the level of exterior light and bring it within the exposure range of interior light levels.
The Cinegel Sun 1/4 CTO filter also comes in two additional RoscoSun materials that combine Sun 85 conversion with Neutral Density reduction. All materials used in the production of these filters are deep-dyed for optical clarity, ensuring your images are always sharp and clear.
The Cinegel Sun 1/4 CTO filter is available in extra wide 57" x 21' (145 cm x 6.7 m) sheets, as well as standard 20" x 24" (50 cm x 61 cm) sheets, making it versatile for various shooting environments. Whether you're a professional filmmaker or a photography enthusiast, this color correction lighting filter is a must-have tool for achieving the perfect lighting in any setting.
