Just what we had hoped.

I have used CTO Filters in the past but felt that they were sometimes too orange. I wanted to try out these CTS gels instead because I have heard that they produce a more neutral color while still changing the color temperature. They were right, this one drops my Speedlight's temperature from about 5500k to about 2700k but I found my self using the 1/2 CTS gels instead most of the time. For a few speedlights this sheet is close to life time supply.

It does the job, and a good one at that.

The Rosco Cinegel #3441 Filter (Full Straw CTS) is meticulously manufactured on a heat-resistant base polymer utilizing a patented deep-dyed technology for heat stability and superior color transmission. On-line computerized colorimetry continuously monitors color and density against strict standards, thus assuring a reliable and consistent product.
STRAW RoscoStraw Daylight Conversion filters are a series of yellowish amber filters that lower color temperature as needed, offered as a yellower version of the traditional CTO series and is calibrated to the same color correction and transmission properties.
