Roscolux, the flagship range of filters from Rosco, is crafted using a unique tri-extrusion technology. This process ensures an extended lifespan, even under the intense heat of stage lights. The colored layer is securely sealed between two ultra-thin layers of clear film, significantly reducing dye migration and prolonging the filter's effective life.

Known as "Supergel" in international markets, Roscolux is the most popular filter range globally. It's constructed from two types of plastic, with over 65% of the line made from co-extruded polycarbonate plastic. The rest of the line is deep dyed polyester.

Unlike ordinary color filters, which are made by surface coating clear polyester plastic film, Roscolux's color is not merely painted onto the surface.
