Become a master of visual effects with Rosco's #5779 Fluorescent Paint in White. This high-quality, water-based, vinyl acrylic paint is renowned for its bright and glossy finish, offering a vibrant glow under ultraviolet lights. Available in an array of nine colors, each more vivid than the last, this fluorescent paint is a versatile tool for creating a wide range of exciting effects in photography and film production.
Rosco, a reputable brand known for its professional-grade photography equipment, has designed this paint to be durable and long-lasting. Ideal for use on a variety of surfaces, this paint adheres well once the surface has been properly prepped, ensuring a smooth, even coat every time.
This fluorescent paint is perfect for use with ultraviolet black light, creating a stunning glow that can enhance any scene or set. It can also be combined with other Rosco Scenic Paints to intensify the vibrancy of the colors, adding depth and dimension to your visual projects.
Despite its powerful glow, this paint maintains its integrity and does not degrade from prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. However, to preserve its luminosity, it is recommended to avoid direct sunlight where possible.
The Rosco Fluorescent Paint is ready to use straight out of the can, but can be diluted with water if necessary. Please note that dilution may reduce the hiding power and brightness of the paint. For optimal results, surfaces should be clean, dry, and free from dirt and grease.
For porous surfaces, prime with Rosco Tough Prime, except for fabrics. If painting a new plaster surface, prime the wall with a commercial primer/sealer designed for raw plaster, followed by Rosco Tough Prime as a final preparation. A white base coat is recommended to achieve the most dramatic color effects.
Before application, stir the contents well. Apply in thin uniform coats with a brush, roller, or spray gun, using overlapping strokes and keeping a wet edge for a seamless finish.
With a minimum shelf life of approximately 24 months when stored in a temperature-controlled location, this fluorescent paint is a reliable addition to your toolkit, ready to bring your creative visions to life whenever inspiration strikes.
