Make your creative projects come alive with the #5782 Fluorescent Paint in vibrant yellow. This high-quality paint is part of Rosco's renowned range, known for its vivid colors that "glow" intensely under ultraviolet lights. This unique feature allows you to create a plethora of exciting and eye-catching effects.
The Rosco Fluorescent Paint is versatile and can be used alone for a bold, glowing effect under ultraviolet black light, or combined with other Rosco Scenic Paints to enhance the vibrancy of the colors. This flexibility makes it a perfect choice for artists and decorators seeking to add a touch of brilliance to their work.
The paint is formulated with a high-quality, water-based, vinyl acrylic binder, the same as found in the popular Off Broadway Paints. This ensures a smooth application and a durable finish, suitable for most surfaces once they have been adequately prepared.
However, please note that the fluorescent pigments in this paint may degrade with prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. To maintain the longevity and vibrancy of the color, it is recommended to avoid direct sunlight where possible.
The #5782 Fluorescent Paint is ready to use straight out of the can for maximum color intensity. If dilution is required, water can be used, but be aware that this may reduce the paint's hiding power and the brightness of the "glow."
For optimal results, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt and grease before application. Priming is recommended for porous surfaces, excluding fabrics, using Rosco Tough Prime. For new plaster surfaces, prime the wall with a commercial primer/sealer designed for raw plaster, followed by Rosco Tough Prime for final preparation. A white base coat is suggested to achieve the most dramatic color effects.
Application is easy and can be done by brush, roller, or spray gun. Apply in thin, uniform coats for the best results, using a good quality brush or roller and overlapping strokes to maintain a wet edge.
With a minimum shelf life of approximately 24 months when stored in a temperature-controlled location, the unopened, sealed #5782 Fluorescent Paint is a long-lasting addition to your art supplies.
