Take your creative projects to the next level with the #5785 Fluorescent Paint in Invisible Blue. This high-quality, water-based, vinyl acrylic paint is part of Rosco's renowned range, known for its vivid colors that "glow" intensely under ultraviolet lights.
This fluorescent paint is perfect for creating a wide array of captivating effects. Whether you're looking to add a touch of magic to your stage design with ultraviolet black light or want to enhance the vibrancy of other Rosco Scenic Paints, this product is your go-to solution.
The #5785 Fluorescent Paint is versatile and can be applied to most surfaces, provided they are properly prepped. Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt and grease for optimal results. For porous surfaces, excluding fabrics, priming with Rosco Tough Prime is recommended. If you're painting a fresh plaster surface, prime the wall with a commercial primer/sealer designed for raw plaster before applying Rosco Tough Prime as a final preparation.
To achieve the most dramatic color effects, a white base coat is advised. Stir the contents well before use and apply in thin, uniform coats with a quality brush, roller, or spray gun. Use overlapping strokes and maintain a wet edge for a smooth finish.
Please note, while this paint is designed for brilliance, the fluorescent pigments may degrade from prolonged exposure to ultraviolet light. To maintain the paint's vibrancy, avoid direct sunlight where possible.
While the #5785 Fluorescent Paint is ready to use straight from the can, it can be diluted with water if necessary. However, keep in mind that dilution may reduce the paint's hiding power and potentially decrease the brightness of the "glow."
With a shelf life of approximately 24 months when stored in a temperature-controlled location, this unopened, sealed paint is a long-lasting addition to your creative toolkit.
