Before you embark on your next creative project, consider the vibrant and eye-catching #5786 Rosco Fluorescent Paint in Pink. This high-quality paint is renowned for its ability to "glow" vividly under ultraviolet lights, making it a popular choice for creating a wide array of exciting visual effects.
This fluorescent paint is part of a collection of nine brighter-than-normal colors, each designed to add an extra dimension to your artwork or design. Whether used on its own or combined with other Rosco Scenic Paints, this fluorescent paint can significantly enhance the vibrancy of your color palette.
The #5786 Rosco Fluorescent Paint utilizes the same premium, water-based, vinyl acrylic binder found in the acclaimed Off Broadway Paints. This ensures a smooth application and a durable finish on most surfaces, provided they have been properly prepped.
While the fluorescent pigments are designed to glow brightly under ultraviolet light, they may degrade with prolonged exposure. To maintain the longevity of your artwork, it is recommended to avoid direct sunlight where possible.
For optimal results, this fluorescent paint should be used straight from the can. If dilution is necessary, water can be used, but be aware that this may reduce the paint's hiding power and potentially diminish the brightness of the glow.
Before application, ensure that your chosen surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt and grease. Porous surfaces, excluding fabrics, should be primed using Rosco Tough Prime. For new plaster surfaces, a commercial primer/sealer designed for raw plaster should be used first, followed by Rosco Tough Prime for final preparation.
To achieve the most dramatic color effects, a white base coat is recommended. Stir the contents well before use and apply in thin, uniform coats using a quality brush, roller, or spray gun. Use overlapping strokes and maintain a wet edge for a seamless finish.
With a minimum shelf life of approximately 24 months when stored in a temperature-controlled location, the unopened, sealed #5786 Rosco Fluorescent Paint in Pink is a long-lasting addition to your creative toolkit.
