This process involves sealing the colorful layer between two microscopically thin layers of clear film, effectively minimizing dye migration and extending the filter's lifespan.

Known as "Supergel" overseas, Roscolux is the most widely used filter range globally, thanks to its superior quality and performance. The Roscolux Lime filter is made from two types of plastic, with over 65% of the filter composed of co-extruded polycarbonate plastic, while the remainder is deep dyed polyester.

Unlike ordinary color filters that are made by surface coating clear polyester plastic film, the color in Roscolux filters is not merely painted onto the surface. This innovative design prevents the dye from being easily removed by heat or physical abrasion, ensuring the filter's color remains lively and vibrant for longer.
