I bought a sheet of this to dim down part of a big digital Date Clock. It works very well. The gel is rugged and had no holes in it. My only complaint was that it had pock marks, like clean pebbles were dropped on it then removed. In other words, it was not as smooth as I would have expected from a brand new piece. But, it was not a real problem. It did the job for me.
