Cinefoil is one of those products that is a must have in any Photography/Video production environment. It has so many purposes. It is matte black so it will not cause reflections, light weight, moldable, very durable and can stand up to the hottest lights. I use regularly to create a snoot at the end of a broad light or a make shift barn doors on light that don't have that option. When you need to keep 100% bleeding of light from an object, Cinefoil is your best option. It can be reused many, many times. I just love how it can be molded very quickly to fit any object. I was in church recently and they had a light that was in the ceiling that was blinding the people in the sound booth. Cinefoil to the rescue! Do yourself a favor and put a roll in you bag of tricks. You will not regret it.

This film is excellent for hand made solar heater boxes. Use it as the flat black backing that attracts the sun. Search Youtube and the web for ideas.

Cinefoil is heavy duty aluminum foil used primarily to block light. This particular roll is black on both sides of the foil, is very durable and can be used over and over with proper care and handling. After use, carefully roll up the foil and you can use it again. A couple of use examples: - used as a gobo on a remote camera mounted to a basketball backboard to block reflected light. - used as a flag on a stobe or flash to prevent light from spilling into an unwanted area.
