Bring precision and quality to your digital compositing projects with the DigiComp HD Digital Compositing Paint. This high-quality, ultra-flat paint, available in both blue and chroma blue, is expertly crafted by Rosco, a reputable brand known for its durable and versatile products.
The DigiComp HD color standards are meticulously manufactured to ensure a clean, crisp separation of the foreground and background in digital compositing. This results in minimal to no post-production touch-ups, saving you valuable time and resources. The paint's unique formulation offers the correct luminance and RGB values for optimal operation of all digital compositing systems.
The single-source pigments in DigiComp HD paints produce a highly-specific spectral reflectance and high-gain reflectivity. This results in a bright, narrow bandwidth of green or blue that is both simple to light and easy to key. This feature significantly reduces the time spent on rotoscoping and manipulating a dirty key caused by the spectral interference found in other generic or paint-store mixed formulations.
Rosco's DigiComp HD formulations are ready for use straight out of the can, providing even coverage in two easy-to-apply coats. The paint is suitable for most porous surfaces, including wood, wallboard, sheetrock, plaster, and concrete. For the best results, it is recommended to properly clean, prime, and prepare your surface before application.
All of Rosco's keying paints, including DigiComp HD, are manufactured to have an ultra-flat finish. This means there is no sheen or gloss in the finish at all, eliminating any potential issues with white or yellow appearing on camera instead of green.
DigiComp HD is ready for use directly out-of-can. For surface preparation, ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dirt and grease. Use an appropriate primer and for best results, apply DigiComp HD over a white primer, such as Rosco Tough Prime White.
Stir contents very well before and during use. Commercial shaking one day before use is recommended. DigiComp HD paints come ready to use straight out of the can. Using a 3/8" nap roller, apply in thin, even, uniform coats, with overlapping strokes. An appropriate airless spray (HVLP recommended) system may also be used.
With DigiComp HD Digital Compositing Paint, you can bring your digital compositing projects to life with ease and precision.
