Just imagine a synthesizer that perfectly marries the warmth of analog sound with the versatility of digital technology. The JD-XA 49 Keys Advanced Analog/Digital Crossover Synthesizer is that instrument. This advanced synthesizer boasts an all-analog engine with four parts, each equipped with two oscillators, filter and amp sections, and four envelopes, all characterized by incredibly fast attack and response times.
The JD-XA's analog engine also features two LFOs, offering a wide range from ultra-slow to ultra-fast, and an analog filter section with 4-Pole, transistor-ladder, and multi-mode filters. These filters provide a smooth, natural response to knob movements, creating a uniquely aggressive sound character.
But the JD-XA isn't just about analog. It also houses a separate digital engine powered by Roland's SuperNATURAL synth technology. This four-part, 64-voice digital sound engine is compatible with INTEGRA-7 sound libraries, offering a vast range of expressive and natural sounds.
The JD-XA's crossover design allows you to use the analog and digital engines independently or interactively. You can route digital sounds through the analog filters or use them as modulation sources for the Cross Mod and Ring Mod functions in the analog section. This flexibility makes the JD-XA an ideal platform for sound design, studio work, and live performance.
The JD-XA also includes a comprehensive 16-track pattern sequencer for fast creation of songs and loops, a mic input for modulating synth sounds with your voice, and a variety of backlit knobs, sliders, and controllers for hands-on sound shaping.
With its built-in USB audio/MIDI interface and two CV/GATE outputs, the JD-XA can seamlessly integrate with your DAW or control external modules. This makes it the perfect centerpiece for any live performance or music production setup.
