Strike
The velocity and force of a finger making contact with the keywave.

Press
The continuous pressure applied to the keywave after the initial strike.

Glide
Horizontal movements from side to side on a keywave and along the ribbons.

The speed of liftoff from a keywave.

Adjust Sensitivity To Suit Your Style
Adding another layer of expressive control, three Touch Faders let you tune the touch responsiveness of the keywaves in real time. Adjust the sensitivity of the keywave surface to touch - and modify the expressive qualities of your music - to suit your personal style and particular sounds.

Glide Touch Fader
Widens and narrows the spectrum of sounds available through sideways movements on a keywave.

Slide Touch Fader
Widens and narrows the spectrum of sounds available through vertical movements up and down a keywave.

Press Touch Fader
Widens and narrows the spectrum of sounds available through pressure on the keywave surface.

Control Parameters On XY Touchpad
Offering additional modulation possibilities, the XY Touchpad lets you control any sound parameter through touch along the X and Y axis.

Choose Your Mode
With five dimensions of touch available for controlling sound, three Touch Faders to tune touch-responsiveness and an XY Touchpad, you have at your fingertips a universe of possibilities for music creation. But the possibilities do not end there. Depending on your mode, you can assign the Seaboard RISE controls to any MIDI CCs.

Expression Mode
Enables full multidimensional sound control in real time through use of three Touch Faders and the XY Touchpad.

MIDI Mode
Retains the features of Expression Mode and also allows the Touch Faders and XY Touchpad to be assigned to any MIDI CCs for additional customization of sound.
