These are still backordered EVERYWHERE but I was fortunate enough to get one through Adorama. I will definitely be supporting this company more in the future. This device is easy to use and extremely fun. I highly recommend this to anyone who is interested in bringing their music to a new level. It?s easy to zone out and lose track of time with this thing.

This latest in the line of SPs brings many welcome additions and improvements to the traditional SP workflow, while remaining true to the form and function of past units. It's certainly a bit of a learning curve, but nothing quite like the MPCs or other standalone units. The build quality is excellent, and the customization of workflow options is stellar. While there's certainly plenty to learn and master in terms of new features, you can still get to making beats right out of the box. With the new and improved resample (with visual waveform editing), pattern sequencing (with resample "bouncing"), skip back sampling, 16 levels, chromatic mode, pitch shifting/ time stretching, improved bpm sync, midi improvements, etc: making quality beats has never been easier. Note: the USB-C interface connectivity is only meant for Apple mobile devices / Mac / PC, which wasn't made clear in promotional material / tutorials. It hasn't worked with my Android phone, it might require a mobile dac.
