Purchased in October. Worked as described. Super easy to install. Clear images (daytime). Needs lighting to get clear images at night. Unfortunately, unit stopped working in January. Just died. Would not reset. Customer service said send receipt and it would be replaced. Four months and a dozen emails later, still waiting.

First of all, having a Doorcam is efficient and scares people away. BUT their app really sucks! Everytime when I want to delete videos, it kept pop up asking to confirm if I want to delete, then again another pop up saying "Video deleted, OK" STUPID features!!

Was a great product now does not work at all. It cancels any actions if it does take a picture it is not a video it doesn't recognized people walking up and the LED lights for filming do not come on. It just does not work since they updated the app. I have contacted Customer Service and they state the obvious that I can see on my owe. I have trouble shot the whole camera and will have to take it down. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

For me the door cam 2 does have good quality BUT I like the night mode in color but this version will be in black and white. The main problem is the cam 2 only cover the half way of your area not the whole premises. Like to return cam 2 but will keep the first door cam.

DoorCam 2 isn't perfect but is the best thing out there for someone like me. I live in an apartment, so I can't to any modifications. It is extremely easy to install and I can just as easily move it to a new residence. With night vision off I have 3 months on the batteries and they still register at 80% power. But the biggest reasons I like it is because the view goes all the way down to the bottom edge of the door so I can see any package delivered, and can check the view at any time from anywhere! There are windy days when moving plants trigger it and visiting squirrels that set it off, as well as some times when a person coming or going doesn't trigger it. But those times are few and far between. It does a good job at what I bought it for.

We are pleased with our doorcam. We have a doorbell cam we love as well. No need for outside companies helping with our security! We bought it for a door it couldn't work on(our mistake but it worked perfectly where we easily installed it.

I already owned the Door Cam 1 and just got the Door Cam 2. The WIFI connectivity on the Door Cam 2 is absolutely HORRIBLE - even with the 'antenna' that does absolutely NOTHING. Door Cam 1 had intermittent connection issues. This new model has CONSTANT connection issues and can't stay connected for more than 5-15 minutes at the most. I've even tried removing the Door Cam 2 and adding it back while standing RIGHT next to the router: It will add back fine, but as soon as click 'Live View' I get an error message saying it's already disconnected from the wifi network. The app's 'About' information will then say the Wifi signal quality is 'bad' - even when I'm standing WITH the camera next to the router. I've also had BOTH the Door Cam 1 and Door Cam 2 connected to the SAME wifi and stood in the same spot in the house with BOTH devices - when I look the the app's 'About' information - It reports a GOOD connection for Door Cam 1 and a BAD connection for Door Cam 2. The newer model LOOKS better, but that is about IT. It's like a nice looking Lamborghini with a DEAD transmission - pretty but useless. The performance and connectivity is WAY lower quality than the original door cam and it looks like somebody RUSHED this to market without bothering to test it. If the camera can't even stay connected when I am holding it in my hand and standing 1-2 feet from the router, it just DOESN'T work. I will be RETURNING this $200 pile of trash through Amazon. Do yourself a favor and buy the ORIGINAL Door Cam, not this 'new' version.

I have both, they don't work. Over and over I confirm email then get something new like error 999. Before that, email would not confirm. I gave them my # 50 times to call but no one ever calls to help. And I saw my mistake of com at end as it ends with" co" very odd, someone has same email except for the m at the end ! So I spent a ton for nothing and all I got was migranes working on it for days and hours and hours with nothing happening. I'm very stressed out. Sounds simple but its not. Also I was not getting emails they said they sent. I get everyone elses emails but not theirs ! hmmm , Sometimes NOW I get a email but no help

I purchased the remo+ door cam 2 this past summer. As a single person in a rental situation this camera has exceeded my expectations. I didn't have to drill into the front my door. I can now not only see who is outside my door but I can hear what is going on outside my door. It's sent to my phone no matter if I'm home or not. It was very easy to install. Thisvis an amazing product and I highly recommend the remo+ doorcam2 if your looking looking for safety and security in your home or unit. Thank you.

Been in my current place since March 1,2021 bought this camera for security reasons even though things been quite. Any who had this camera up for 2 days and someone went in my car and stole things this camera didn?t see anything at all no alerts at all on top off that since having this camera I can walk in my door and still no alerts waste of money I am beyond mad

The concept of this camera is good but the reality is faulty. Images are often blurred and the sensor and recording feed are not realtime due to a delay.

I bought this 4 months ago and it is a great camera. It is easy to install in the door and dawn loading the app. The resolution of the images are nice and neat.

I purchased a few months ago. Love that I can see what goes on at my doors or inside the house...also used it as an intercom to talk to family from different floors. Easy to place over the door & set up is a breeze. Love that I can download video that I want to keep within 3 days. Night vision could be better, but great camera for the price!

I bought this because of the easy ability to have security without much effort. It arrived in the box and was installed by me, a senior citizen, in less than 15 minutes. Able to put the app on my smart phone and now get text messages when ever it notes movement on the selected area.

I have wanted a good camera for my front door and luckily got it. It notifies me when triggered, has great picture quality and keeps me up to date on visitors and deliveries. I am so grateful to Remo+ For this great camera.

I purchased a DoorCam2 about 8 weeks ago and I am satisfied with the investment. I am definitely happy with the enhanced features and clear images of the camera. I get pushed notifications when someone is at my door and can speak to delivery person from anywhere on my mobile phone app to ask them to leave the packages at the door. The camera wards off people from linger near the door and I can monitor my package even when I am not home, which is fantastic!!!

My front door is recessed in an alcove with the door bell being located on one of the side walls so any device would only record a small area parallel to the door. Remo allows me to record the approach and the sidewalk in front, all without having to permanently install the device. Brilliant!

I brought this door camera about two months ago and it works great for my needs. This area already has cameras on each light pole, but this camera helps me to identify all of my deliveries & guest. I am able to speak to everyone through the app & capture 30-seconds of video movements near & around my door area. Great camera for my needs, easy to install & no real pain points.

I saw this product on the Saturday morning Ford Innovation Nation and thought how great it would be for our front door. I ordered it on Amazon and it was delivered the same day. And we installed it on the same day. It fits over our front door snuggly. We do have an alarm system and my husband was worried that it might not fit...this would definitely be a consideration when buying this product...how the door meets the door frame...for us, it worked. We put the batteries in and we were off and running. The DoorCam notifies me when someone is at the front door and generally works well, but occasionally it doesn't recognize our visitors. It often captures squirrels or cats playing on our front porch, but sometimes misses delivery men...particularly if they are fast. Also, sometimes I am unable to connect to the DoorCam Live View with my phone to see if anyone is out there. It advises me to check my network connection, but the WiFi network is fine. All in all, I am pretty happy with the device, however, I wish that it was 100% reliable. I would recommend this DoorCam with caveats.

Have had this camera for about 2 months. Basic need was to have something at the main door of our second home to monitor activity. We are not in the position of needing monitoring throughout, so this basic application works! Works very well and images are clear. The app works well on our Android phones. This camera is mounted on the main door, and a storm door closes in front of it. Therefore, visibility is limited until activity arrives almost immediately in front of the door. I would suggest an add on kit or a way to adjust the 'sights of this camera about 6 inches lower to capture more of a viewing area when used like this. The camera fits well and snug over the main door, so I would think that the weight would not be an issue. Hope your company will consider this recommendation, plus consider a camera with a panning function as well.
