Shopper : Do I have the option to attach a light as well?THOMAS S : No This is not set up to hold a light. It may support a speedlight if you clamped it to the shaft. That would be the max.
Shopper : How much weight does it handle?JOHN C : I use the holder with a collapsible 42" circular reflector, the reflector is around 1-2 lbs. The holder handled it easily. When I first used the reflector, it took a few times to clamp the reflector securely, I was quite comfortable with it after that. The holder and reflector is used strictly indoors, I don't believe the holder would be strong enough on a windy day outdoors. Then again, most reflectors are a pain on a windy day, even if it's sand bagged or held by an assistant.
