Really like that the adapter stays secured to the Nikon lens.JOHN F : This worked fine on a Blackmagic URSA & URSA Mini Pro.I've never tried it on a Canon camera. However, check your return policy. You may have time to try it and return if you're not satisfied.

Great adaptor for the price

converted all my Zeiss zf.2's to ef mount with these. Make sure to use some lock tight (blue removable kind) on the screws or they will loosen over time.

DOESN'T WORK ON CANON EOS 1Ds cameras

An advise to all Canon-Nikon maniacs like myself. Do not buy this adapter. It doesn't work. I bought this expecting to use it on my two Canons, a Eos1Ds MarkIII and my recently acquired ,a Canon Eos1D markII N from Adorama, love both cameras along with my Nikons too. After two hours working on this adapter, It works, But it doesn't work. Make sure you get this clearly, It wont work on any of your mighty Eos1Ds. I suspected the RedRock ring will touch the Camera-lens pins inside the camera body. I file the adapter part near the pins. It didn't work. Now, If I connect the adapter to the Eos1D and lock it up in position, IT DOESN'T WORK, BUT, IF I INSTALL THE ADAPTER, BUT STOP ONE MILLIMETER BEFORE THE FINAL STOP TO LOCK IT UP, IT WILL WORK...funny Ah?. I am going to use it, but need to be careful, since this connection is not fully in place. I had modified myself more than 40 Nikkors NON AI to fully AI in the past 30 years and continue to do it nowdays. I am a mechanical Engineer, who likes to know why things work and why doesn't work, so for me, this is another experience with machines and equipment, but be aware that this RedRock adapter, DOESN'T WORK ON CANON EOS 1Ds cameras.
