About Redrock Micro Micro Cobalt Cage
The Redrock Cobalt cage for GoPro HERO 3 keeps your camera safe from falls and crashes so you can go to the extreme and get incredible shots. It can also protect the HERO 3+ if either the HERO3 Housing or the Skeleton Housing is used. When it comes to the HERO3, the cage works well with or without the underwater housing. If you choose not to use the underwater housing, the HERO3 works just as well with the use of the Redrock Micro Deluxe Accessory Kit, an optional accessory that keeps fog from clouding your shots. The Cobalt cage allows for versatility, providing threads around the camera for a variety of accessories to attach, while the GoPro's housing only offers one mounting point.
The cage's military-grade aluminum is conveniently lightweight, and it keeps the GoPro safe, even during intense impacts. To securely mount your camera, the cage allows you to utilize a triangulation method, which minimizes vibrations. Or you can mount with other techniques, including support rails, clamps, and suction cups. You can decide to under-sling or side-sling the GoPro for more interesting shots, options that would not be possible with the underwater housing.
