I?ve taken years to build up my Moví M5, making it the highest possible quality run & gun set up I can possibly build. I?m flying an FX3, 14mm F1.8, Rode Video Mic X, a shotgun mic, a timecode system, Tascam 701D audio mixer, two wireless lavs, Atomos Shogun and a v-mount to power everything. Needless to say, it?s heavy and this vest actually makes hour long shoots possible. It?s the best in the business as far as I?ve seen. I?ve used it to film a multi-hour long restaurant opening event and it was marvelous. I looove the stability of having two arms, as opposed to some of the others on the market that only have one. Hands down recommend this. Also, Adorama only has my permission to use my photos if they provide a link back yo my website. Those are the terms of me sharing copyrighted photos - simple credit back.

I own a MoVI Pro and a Steadicam Steadimate. The Ready Rig is much easier support to learn and to use than the Steadimate, but it has limitations that you should be aware of. The Gimbal is held directly in front of the gimbal operator so using the MoVI in Majestic mode is quite limited. You cannot pan left or right without turning your whole body and shots not directly in front of you are difficult to frame. An improved design for the hinges on the arms that would allow you to swing the gimbal to the left and right would improve single operator use. I was thinking of selling my Steadimate, but am keeping it for my single operator work. It can't be beaten for that but it does require training and practice to use. If you are running dual op then this rig is extremely easy to use and provides very good vertical dampening. If the attach rings were a little easier to use I would have given the rig 4.5 stars. If you could easily pan 45º left or right I would have given it 5.

We tested out the Easyrig and Readyrig for our Ronin MX, the easyrig was also great but felt like it would be better for handheld operation. The Ready Rig is exactly what we were looking for, it's easy to set up and let our operator shoot for triple the time without fatigue!
