This feature not only supplements the traditional friction-based clamping mechanism but also effectively prevents unintentional repositioning of the rail within the clamp when the R-LOCK is engaged. The ARC-LR Adjustable R-LOCK Lever-Release Photo Clamp also features the R-Mount Interface. This rosette design is engineered to prevent twisting at the coupling point between the ARC-LR and RRS head over time. It also assists in eliminating any "play" that may result from regular use on our earlier tongue-and-groove designs. One of the standout features of this photo clamp is its easy top-loading capability. With one swift action, the clamp can transition from closed to fully open, facilitating effortless top-loading of RRS Dovetail and Arca-Swiss compatible quick-release plates. The ARC-LR Adjustable R-LOCK Lever-Release Photo Clamp also provides visual confirmation of the lock position. Users can easily determine if the lever is locked, half-open, or fully open. For the first time, the ARC-LR allows users to adjust a RRS clamp's jaw tolerance. This feature enables the clamp to conform to some 3rd party Arca-style plates or rails, offering greater versatility and compatibility.
