It's my first L-bracket. It fits well and works so well I don't have to think about it. Sometimes the best quality makes issues invisible.

Really Right Stuff is a very heavy duty, superbly made L bracket. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for the very best in a L bracket. I have this L bracket on 3 of my cameras and I've been totally satisfied.

An extremely useful addition to your camera gear. Makes switching orientations on a heavy camera such as the GFX 50R quite a breeze. Keeps the camera centered on the mount. I have the bracket mounted on the Peak Design tripod, and it does not fit as comfortably as the provided original plate, but that is not a defect on the part of RRS. The bracket allows easy access to the batteries and ports!

Anyone who use RRS products know the quality, fit and finish, and durable of each item and the attention to detail to how it will be used in real life. I purchased this L-bracket and another for a 5DSR, both fit like a glove and each made for that specific camera. Yes it?s expensive but the best.

I love this l-bracket for my Sony a7r iii. It really helps me when shooting on a tripod going from horizontal to vertical without losing my composition or having to adjust my tripod. This let's me work faster, grip my camera marginally better, and it looks awesome too. My only complaint is that it gets really really really cold when shooting outside in the cold (duh). I really appreciate that the l-bracket comes with an Allen wrench built in so I don't lose it and it is always available the ready held in by a magnet. Cable management hasn't been an issue for me while using the ports on the camera. Couldn't recommend it more.

Very solid L-Bracket for Canon EOS R. The side cut-out allows for the articulating screen to be viewed at a 90 degree angle. Works perfectly for my architecture and real estate photography.

Great quality fits perfect on my EOS R. RRS is alway higher in price but top quality. Get what you pay for someone said.

I can't believe I spent $140.00 for a piece of metal. But, if you want the best photography equipment you're going to pay a premium for it. It actually looks and works flawless. Hugs the camera tight and doesn't affect the size too much, meaning it goes in the camera bag with no fuss. I was worried about using the flip out screen with this on but it does give you a decent amount of movement and if you vlog or do selfies it does give you 90% - 95% view of the screen from the front of the camera. The slot on the side is for the flip out screen to be inserted so you can get low and tilt the screen upwards. Easy access to the battery door. From what I can tell so far there's really no reason you would need to take off the bracket to get to anything other than if you wanted to put on a battery grip. Getting access to the ports on the side is a bit tricky but not overly difficult. I use a shutter release often and its pretty easy to attach but if you want to shoot vertical the cable will be in the way but you can work around it by offsetting the alignment to the bracket. Although, you can not adjust the length of the bracket from the base to give you room to use the other ports on the side (Mic and headphone jack while shooting vertical, but why would you unless you're vlogging). Not a big fan of this but getting the Canon BR-E1 bluetooth shutter release will solve this issue when shooting vertical. For landscape photography it's fantastic.
