The Mark 2 tripods feature additional 1/4"-20 sockets along the tripod's apex, providing the flexibility to attach optional accessories and shoulder-strap mounts. The TVC-34L Mk2, our extra-tall Versa Series 3 tripod, is designed for speed and durability. It locks and unlocks faster, and is more resistant to the elements. The redesigned twist-locks prevent grit and debris from contaminating the threads, ensuring longevity and smooth operation. We've also added a vent at the top of each leg for efficient air transfer when extending or collapsing, enabling rapid deployment and takedown. Despite weighing only 4.7 pounds, the TVC-34L Mk2 is capable of supporting up to 50 pounds, making it an ideal companion for wildlife photography and telephoto lenses up to 800mm. The TFC-34L Mk2, on the other hand, offers all the features of the TVC-34L but swaps the Versa apex for a fixed apex. While the fixed apex cannot be used with accessories like a quick-column, it packs smaller in diameter than the TVC-34L, offering a compact solution for your photography needs.
