After years of annoying my ole lady shopping for a chair I finally purchased the chair pod. I absolutely love it and my only regret is the stress taking so long to purchase it gave both her and I. Super comfortable and the rest is steadier then my Caldwell lead sled. I'm not sure how that's possible but it's true. It is a little heavy and a little awkward packing in and out but it's getting better every time I go. One word to bog, please please please make a carry pack for it that has additional storage. On a side note, I am 5'10" with a 30" inseem and I have to have the rest adjusted all the way up so taller folks and smaller folks may not like it as much.

So I looked this up and asked for it for my birthday last year, glad I did, some people complain about the assembly, but I found it super easy literally theres only 8 bolts and 4 screws most of its installed you just remove bolts and put seat on, super easy I have used it for a heavy rifle and crossbow worked great, one of the best parts is we had a bad storm come through and destroyed my blind and several parts to this from a tree that fell on it, they didn't have to help me out but they went above and beyond to help me get it operational again! I greatly appreciate it very much, I would definitely recommend this to anyone no matter how big you are its completely adjustable, some people complain about it being low to the ground but I found it perfect especially if your in a blind of some kind

The shooting rest looks great. However, if you purchase the ChairPod, the shooting rest cannot be removed and placed on a Tree Stand. The base and vertical supports are different (one square and one round) for the Chair versus the Tree Stand system. If you need the rest for elevated stands and ground blinds, you have to purchase a Tree Stand Pod and a Chair Pod, which is expensive and ridiculous. The Pod needs to be interchangeable so that it can be removed and placed on a Tree Stand or on a Chair.

I purchased the chair pod for the family to practice shooting out of a ground blind. 1st issue, the directions are horrible. If you are over 5’3 the chair is very uncomfortable, short legs. The rifle rest is unstable, to stabilize the rest we had to add a Tri pod for support.

Well made but very heavy. Awkward to transport. Instructions very poorly written and illustrated with not enough detail and confusing. I am handicapped and it was quite difficult to assemble. Also awkward getting and out of seat. This is a box blindchair. Not a run n gun game blind chair. Much more difficult than the easily transported Fieldpod. But it is well made.

Bought this recently. It comes in pieces with tiny extensive directions, some of which made no sense or we’re inadequately illustrated. They easily could have assembled this collapsed it atnd shipped it in a slightly bigger box. Don’t buy this without time and patience.
