I took it out to the range for the first time this weekend and I was very impressed with the quality. The quick adjustment buttons make it very easy to deploy.

The tripod is solid and stable. However the vertical hold isn't as tight as I would like. If I am swinging the mount around it will track smooth but the hold on an AR on muzzle down angle isn't the best. The legs are solid the angle stops are perfect. The choice of hard points or soft points on the ends for the ground is a really nice idea and work well. The clamp will hold tight on a narrow hand guard on a 10/22 all the way to my magpul hunter stock rem 700. The overall tripod is nice only thing I would fix is the vertical angle hold and a sling option vs some simple 550 cord for those trips that are just long enough. I do recommend this for anyone looking for a good tripod that goes from prone to standing. At 6'1" I have only to bend over a little bit to get a perfect eye on the optic.

I absolutely love this tripod! My 8 year old son was able to shoot his first deer the day before Thanksgiving using it! He wouldn't have been able to make the shot without it! It is heavy duty!

Instantly made my 12 year old boy stable, he had the shakes every time when on a deer, set the crossbow in it for him and instantly felt completely stable and confident. He shot his first buck the next day.

This tripod is well priced and extremely sturdy. We were looking for something to use for stability during static shooting. We opted for this over carbon fiber because we aren't using it for hunting. However I wouldn't be afraid to pack this hunting as it is lighter than it appears but does not sacrifice quality. It is also easy, quiet, and quick to set up.

Very happy with my Tripod. Super amazing quality and was exactly what I wanted. I couldn't afford the aluminum, but in all honesty, this isn't all that heavy for me, but I'm 6'3" and 275 lbs. I'm looking for this type of quality in a rifle mounted system.

This stand is a much needed tool for any hunter. I can set this up for target practice or in the stand and it just works. Even my 5 yr old son is able to shoot and have fun.

Got the tripod shipped and received very quickly after placing the order. Set it up and tried it out sighting in my shotgun. Wishing I would have gotten one sooner. Outstanding tripod. Will definitely order another one.

Love the quick release action on the grip. The pan and swivel action are smooth. The adjustments on the legs are brilliant, I've never seen anything like it. The adjustments for standing or sitting are intuitive as well.

Love how easy this is to set up. I use it all the time for my daughter while hunting and anytime I am shooting rifles as well. Makes it so easy to get set up for an inexperienced shooter and have them hitting the target accurately quickly building confidence.

I've used one of the Bog's Deathgrip on an elk hunt and shot one at 500 yards. My teenage son took one at 480 with it as well. I also watched my buddy take one at 700 yards. This provides a quickly deploying, stable platform to shoot off of. Great design. It is heavy to lug around.

Very pleased with the DeathGrip Tripod. Quality and workmanship/finish is excellent. Holds a variety of my long guns securely and steadily. Very adjustable with robust connections. I mostly use this for hunting. It adjusts from standing height to sitting for predator hunting. Glad I also chose the carbon fiber model. The weight difference is worth it.

Quality construction. Infinite adjustment on legs, height, head swivel, and grip. I am 6' tall and can raise the head high enough for me to stand up straight when mounting my rifle. Holds my FN SCAR 20 S securely with total weight at 15.2 lb. In my opinion, this is much better range setup than bags on a bench. I have not used it in a hunting scenario yet, but anticipate it will work well in a ground blind application.
