DOES NOT FIT THE DEATHGRIP TRIPOD

I BOUGHT THIS WITH A DEATHGRIP TREIPOD... I TOOK THE DEATHGRIP CLAMP OFF THE FIBERGLASS LEGS THINKING I WOULD USE IT WITH OTHER ACCESSORIES...BUT THE THREADED ADAPT A POD IS THE SAME SIZE AS THE CYLYNDRICAL HOLE THE CLAMP WAS REMOVED FROM..IT JUST DOESNT WORK< NO MENTION OF IT NOT FITTING IT'S OWN LIINE OF GEAR IN DESCRIPTION....JUNK
