I'll still use it because it'll clamp to several vehicles and my deck railing and the price was right. Would have given 5 stars if it was arca. Probably should have

I bought the Bog window mount on Amazon. I showed up with the locking mechanism broken out of the packaging (it looked like it was opened, so probably broken and returned). I had a replacement sent, and it worked fine for a couple of months, and then broke in the exact same spot. It's clearly a weakness in the design. Even when it was working, it doesn't stay tightened well. All around disappointing.

I have the death grip and really like it. Purchased the window mount for my spotting scope and was surprised that the mount and tilt adjust are 90° off. To get the screw and the post to fit into the scope the "tilt" feature becomes a lean left/right feature. Dumb design. So I tried mounting the plate 90° off which means the post next to the screw doesn't have anywhere to fit which leads to a wobbly mess just to get the tilt feature. While I like Bog products this is a return for me. People on Amazon reviews have been pointing this out for the past year year no design revision. Very disappointing.

First. I bought the death grip tripod with this mount for my spotting scope, was told they worked together, they don?t. After numerous emails to customer service w/our response I called and was told this only worked with the sherpa or infinite model. Returned death grip and ordered Sherpa, still doesn?t work. Im sure what I?m missing here but the instructions don?t show how to mount the adapter at all.

I bought this mount because I really like my bog shooting tripod and was excited to use it for my scope. Unfortunately, it does not work very well with vortex spotting scopes. The way the scope mounts, it would be oriented sideways so you could not adjust elevation correctly. It also has a lot of play between the scope and the plate so it is quite loose and difficult to keep attached tightly and still to look at anything in detail. I think the idea behind this mount was good, but the execution was very poor. I will be returning it.

My spotting scope does kinda spin with the plate attached a bit. Gets kinda annoying. Has wood clamps vs like a rubber.

I purchased the Bog Adrenaline Tripod and the spotting scope adapter. The tripod is pretty decent for what it is but I learned fairly quickly that you cannot purchase a backup adapter base plate should you happen to lose yours or simply need a backup. After numerous calls to Bog to purchase an extra plate, I have determined that the plate does not exist and Bog is of no help finding another one. So my suggestion is either buy a different scope adapter or find something entirely from another company. Very disappointing in the adapter and the customer service. Who sells an adapter without having additional plates? You lose it and you have to buy the entire unit all over again. Disappointed. From Bog customer service: I don't have a link of a plate that would work. The ones we used to sell on there are gone as it has been years since we put them on there. Your best bet is to google that size and see what comes up, I would just recommend reading the reviews on sites to make sure it is credible.

this spotting scope is surprisingly good for its price point. It's not that cheap but not expensive either. Surprised by how much zoom power it can offer. I bought this mainly for our camping trips, turned out it was great for my occasional bird watching at home as well.

This works great. Would be nice to be able to lock the side-to-side movement, but that holds steady for the most part. Excellent when combined with a Switcheroo Tripod! Somewhat wish there was a combo of this with the Adrenaline Tripod, as that is excellent for long-range glassing.

there is no way to tighten swivel around good up or down but both on windo or tripod the wind will move it around but good idea just need inprovment
