BOGgear Dead Silent Shooting Sticks, Kneeling, Extends to 39"

I bought these sticks about a year ago and practiced off of them several times last summer while preparing for an elk hunt. I probably took 50 shots off of them over the course of the summer. Durning my hunt I took a shot off of the sticks at a big bull and when I shot the recoil caused the rubber piece that connects the two sticks together to break. I attempted shot number two and three while trying to hold the sticks together with my hand. I got the bull, but had a lot of unnecessary drama with the failed sticks. After I got back home, I replaced the faked rubber piece by drilling a hole through the sticks and replacing the rubber connector with a small bolt and a few washers. I really like these sticks but they failed at the worst possible time after limited use. If you buy these sticks you might want to eliminate the risk and replace the rubber connector from the beginning. I would encourage the manufacturer to look at the design. Other than this one flaw I find them to be a great, lightweight, set of sticks.

I have used this for 5 field days so far. They came in handy real quick, the first day I had them I harvested a cow elk. In that situation I would not have been able to get a shot prone due to high sage brush. They are rock solid and hold the crosshairs dead on. I have also been doubling them as a trekking pole to assist in steep terrain and to cross creeks.
