Design details
The Crash Guard bumper features a minimal design approach. The goal is to cover up as little of your device as possible while adding maximum protection. The Crash Guard bumper allows for as much exposure of your device and original design as possible. The Crash Guard bumper has a matte finish, which is not only fashionable, but also serves as a means of enhancing your grip on your device. The finish also serves to make the bumper more durable as it is harder to scratch.
The bumper uses hard and soft polymer construction to perfectly fit and wrap your phone. The Rhino Shield Crash Guard bumper will not slide around like many silicone, TPU or some snap-on cases. Rhino Shield also paid special attention to ensure all the buttons (power, volume, etc.) are fully accessible, and all the ports have sufficient openings so they are easily accessible and compatible with most headphones (including Beats by Dr. Dre) and third-party charging accessories.
Technology
The Rhino Shield Crash Guard is packed with new technologies. There are two levels of innovation in our bumper case design. The most important is the Egg Drop material, which provides more than 90% of its impact absorbing capability.
The product, while similar in design to current bumpers, is much stronger than anything ever created in the space. Based upon RD in developing the polymer formulation used in the Rhino Shield impact resistant screen protectors, Rhino Shield created a new polymer blend, capable of absorbing tremendous impact without adding any bulk.
The polymer used in the manufacture of the bumper differentiates it from everything else currently on the market.
Anybody can wrap a phone in a brick to protect it from being damaged. Rhino Shield believes the real skill is in developing materials fully capable of providing the highest levels of protection while shrinking that protection down to the form factor of the device.
