The Restube Lifeguard buoy inflates rapidly within seconds with a simple pull of the trigger wire, which also functions as a safety whistle. This mechanism utilizes a replaceable CO2 cartridge, with one included in the package, and can alternatively be inflated manually via a mouthpiece. Once deployed, the buoy showcases a signal-yellow color for high visibility and provides a buoyancy of 75N (approximately 7kg), effectively supporting a victim's head above water for optimal safety.

Designed with a C-shape, the Restube Lifeguard buoy includes a safety lanyard for secure attachment to the victim and a high-visibility reflector for enhanced detection in various conditions. Its compact form allows it to be stored in a robust case, which can be conveniently worn around the hip either horizontally or vertically using the supplied interchangeable belt. This belt features a quick-release buckle for ease of use.

The Restube Lifeguard is intended exclusively for trained professional lifeguards, offering a personal safety and tow system with a 1.80m long buoyant safety line. This feature enables lifeguards to secure individuals of any stature in the water and tow them to safety as needed. The included 3.8cm wide belt is designed for comfort and equipped with an emergency release function, allowing for quick detachment from the system when necessary.

Constructed from extra-robust materials, the buoy is made of nylon with a TPU coating, meeting the standards for life jackets (DIN EN ISO 12402-7). The protective pocket fabric is crafted from high-quality nylon, safeguarding the buoy from UV light and general wear and tear. The Restube Lifeguard buoy is reusable up to 200 times, ensuring long-term utility.

Please note that the Restube is not a Coast Guard-approved life vest, as it does not encircle the body or provide head support in the event of unconsciousness. Instead, it serves as a flotation swim buoy, offering a reliable resting point and ease of swimming for trained rescuers.
