This high-tech, user-friendly system is designed to deliver superior performance with minimal spectrum usage, making it an ideal choice for professional audio and video applications.The BTR-80N system is a comprehensive package that includes the frequency-agile BTR-80N base station and up to four TR-80N or TR-82N beltpacks. These beltpacks operate in full-duplex communication mode, allowing for seamless, uninterrupted dialogue. For larger scale operations, an almost limitless number of beltpacks can be integrated with the base station in Push-To TX mode (half-duplex).One of the standout features of the BTR-80N system is its dual audio channel operation. This allows the beltpack operator to switch between two separate audio channels, with the base station automatically tracking the beltpack's selection. This feature provides the flexibility to establish both a party line and a private line within the same beltpack, catering to a variety of communication needs.The BTR-80N system operates in the narrow band frequency range of 500-518MHz transmit and 590-608MHz receive, ensuring clear and secure communication. With a line-of-sight range of up to 1000 feet, this system offers reliable performance over long distances. And with the addition of RTS antenna systems, this range can be further extended.Additional features of the BTR-80N system include auxiliary balanced audio input and output connections, as well as wireless talk-around (WTA) and stage announce (SA) capabilities. The beltpacks are also highly efficient, providing between 8 and 11 hours of continuous operation on NiMH rechargeable battery packs.Whether used as a standalone system or interfaced with other RTS wired intercom systems, the BTR-80N offers a compact, multifunctional solution for all your professional communication needs.
