The BTR-80N system is a comprehensive package that includes the frequency-agile BTR-80N base station and up to four TR-80N or TR-82N frequency-agile beltpacks. These beltpacks operate in full-duplex communication mode, allowing for seamless two-way communication. For larger operations, an almost unlimited number of beltpacks can be integrated with the base station in Push-To TX mode (half-duplex), providing scalability to meet your communication needs.
One of the standout features of the BTR-80N system is its dual audio channel operation. This allows the beltpack operator to switch between two separate audio channels, with the base station automatically tracking the beltpack's selection. This feature provides the flexibility to establish both a party line and a private line within the same beltpack, catering to diverse communication requirements.
The BTR-80N system is not only perfect for standalone operation but also offers seamless interfacing with other RTS wired intercom systems. It comes equipped with connections for auxiliary balanced audio input and output, as well as wireless talk-around (WTA) and stage announce (SA) features, enhancing its versatility.
Operating in the 482-500 MHz Transmit/572-590 MHz Receive range, the BTR-80N system offers reliable performance even at line-of-sight distances of 1000 feet. With the use of RTS's available antenna systems, the effective operating range can be significantly extended. The system's high-efficiency beltpacks, powered by NiMH rechargeable battery packs, provide between 8 and 11 hours of uninterrupted operation, ensuring long-lasting performance for all your professional needs.
