The TR-800's Wireless Talk Around (WTA) function disconnects the user's audio from the wired intercom, auxiliary input/output, and the base station's local headset when activated, while the Stage Announce (SA) function routes the user's audio to the stage announce connector on the back of the base station. The Audio Channel Select Button allows users to select either audio channel A or B, while the Bat/Overmod Light (BAT/OM) provides a visual indication of battery status and microphone gain setting. The Talk Light LED indicates when the talk button, SA, or WTA is active, and the Talk Button enables the audio path from the local headset microphone.
