Discover the advanced capabilities of the RTS TR-800, a robust two-channel UHF frequency-agile wireless beltpack designed to seamlessly integrate with the BTR-800 system. This professional-grade communication device is engineered for reliability and clear audio transmission in a variety of production environments.
Crafted with a durable all-metal cast magnesium case, the TR-800 is built to withstand the rigors of on-location and studio work. Its user-friendly LCD-based graphical interface allows for intuitive navigation and control, ensuring that users can adjust settings quickly and efficiently.
The TR-800 features individual volume controls for precise audio level management, allowing users to tailor their listening experience to their specific needs. The beltpack's stage announce activation provides a direct audio route to the stage announce system, while the wireless talk around (ISO) activation enables seamless communication with other wireless beltpack users, excluding the wired intercom and base station's local headset.
Equipped with enhanced ClearScan technology, the TR-800 automatically scans for the clearest frequency, ensuring minimal interference and optimal audio quality. The detachable antennas offer flexibility and ease of maintenance, while the auto-sensing headset connector simplifies the process of switching between electret and dynamic headset microphones.
The on/off and volume control knob is conveniently located for quick access, allowing users to power the beltpack and adjust headset volume with ease. The Wireless Talk Around (WTA) feature disconnects the user's audio from the wired intercom and auxiliary inputs, while still allowing communication with other channel users.
The Stage Announce (SA) function routes the user's audio to the stage announce system, providing a clear indication when activated by disabling the user's sidetone and illuminating a nearby red LED. The audio channel select button enables the user to switch between audio channels A or B, offering flexibility in communication.
The battery/overmodulation (BAT/OM) indicator light provides immediate feedback on battery status and microphone gain levels, ensuring users are always aware of the beltpack's operational status. The talk light LED indicates when the talk function is active, providing a visual cue for communication status.
Finally, the talk button on the TR-800 allows for easy activation of the audio path from the local headset microphone. A quick press latches the talk function for continuous communication, while a longer press enables momentary talk capability.
The RTS TR-800 is an essential tool for professionals requiring reliable, high-quality wireless communication in broadcast, live production, theater, and event settings. Its advanced features and durable construction make it a top choice for seamless and efficient audio management.
