Constructed with a durable all-metal cast magnesium case, the TR-800 is built to withstand the rigors of live events and theater productions. Its innovative LCD-based graphical user interface simplifies operation, while individual volume controls allow for effortless level adjustment. The TR-800 is equipped with a stage announce activation feature, which routes the user's audio to the stage announce connector on the base station. This feature is complemented by a wireless talk around (ISO) activation that disconnects the user's audio from the wired intercom, auxiliary input/output, and the base station's local headset, ensuring uninterrupted communication. The transceiver also features an auto-sensing headset connector that automatically switches between electret and dynamic headset mics, providing compatibility with a wide range of headset options. The detachable antennas and enhanced ClearScan technology further improve the device's performance and reliability. The TR-800's intuitive design includes an audio channel select button for easy switching between audio channels A or B. The Bat/Overmod Light (BAT/OM) provides a visual indicator of battery status, while the Talk Light LED indicates when the talk button, SA, or WTA is active.
