The dual listen feature allows you to listen to 'Tech' in one ear and 'Production' in the other. This is particularly useful in professional audio and video settings where you need to monitor two different audio streams simultaneously.
When pressed, the WTA function disconnects the user's audio from the wired intercom, auxiliary input/output, and the base station's local headset. However, other beltpack users on that audio channel can still hear the user as normal.
The auto-sensing headset connector on the TR-825 automatically switches between electret and dynamic headset mics. This provides flexibility and convenience, as it is compatible with a wide range of headsets.
The Bat/Overmod light (BAT/OM) on the TR-825 provides information about the battery status and microphone gain setting. It flashes once when the unit is turned on if the battery is good, stays on if the battery is low, and does not flash if the battery is dead.
The Talk Button on the TR-825 enables the audio path from the local headset microphone. A quick press and release latches the talk function, while holding the button for over half a second enables the audio path only for as long as the button is held.
