The system can also function as a stand-alone base station for ROAMEO, RTS's digital wireless communication solution based on DECT technology.

The OMS OMNEO Main Station is available in five licensed models, each designed to cater to different business needs. These models include Analog Only, Analog Plus, Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced. Each model features the easy-to-use RTS digital icon-based front panel display and a simplified menu structure, allowing for system configuration and control directly from the front panel and display.

The OMS OMNEO Main Station supports 4 ports of analog AIO 4-wire and 4 ports of analog 2-wire, with auto nulling capability available on 2-wire interfaces. It can support up to 40 OMNEO or ROAMEO beltpacks and up to 16 partylines. Ethernet connectivity is available through copper or fiber connections, and the system can support up to 8 keypanels.

The compact 1RU enclosure of the OMS OMNEO Main Station allows for easy mounting in a standard. It has built-in cooling based on forced air circulation, enabling it to operate at an ambient temperature of up to 0 Degree C - 45 Degree C (32 Degree F - 113 Degree F).

The front panel of the OMS OMNEO Main Station features a color display capable of displaying information about the unit, two rotary encoders with push-function, a full numeric keypad with backlight, channel controls, mic, and speaker. The active area of the display is 120 mm x 19 mm, with a resolution of 4.7 pixels per mm, and the ability to reproduce a minimum of 65536 colors. The display technology is TFT, with a viewing angle of 80 degrees, vertically and horizontally.

The OMS OMNEO Main Station also features a front-panel headset XLR connector with optional genders: 4M, 4F, 5F. The 5F actually has 6; an extra center pin is provided for PTT. For the microphone portion, it can self-sense dynamic or electret microphones.

The rear of the OMS OMNEO Main Station features power connectors, two-wire connectors, program inputs, stage announcement output, four-wire audio ports, general purpose input/output, control-port RJ-45, Rvon Port, Omneo Copper RJ-45, and Omneo Fiber SFP.
