The Hot Shoe Extension allows you to fit multiple attachments to your single Hot Shoe on your Camera/Camcorder. It also allows you to Rotate the Bar 360° around, for the perfect Mounting position. Bottom of Hot shoe also has a 1/4"-20 threaded Socket, so it can be mounted to a 1/4-20" Socket on a Camera with a 1/4"-20 set Screw to provide Hot shoe Mounting on a Camera that only has a Screw Mount. Think of it as a Hot-shoe "Y" Adapter!

Solid, sturdy does the job

With this extension bar, I have been able to add to my Canon XH A1 two Sennheiser wireless receivers and a DTE recorder. When I have needed only one of the wireless receiver, I have been able to add my LED lighting kit or a shotgun microphone. I have tried several other hot shoe extenders - none have been as effective as this.
