Specifically tailored for stereo microphones up to 270mm long with a diameter of 19-34mm and a 5-Pin XLR Connector, it fits perfectly in a Windshield 3 or 4. This versatile suspension system is ideal for use with the Rode NT4 and the Sennheiser MKH 418, providing a secure and stable fit.The XLR-5F 68 Duo Medium Modular Suspension is engineered to provide complete isolation against handling and cable-borne noises. It achieves this by cradling the microphone using innovative Lyre suspension webs. These patented Lyre webs are incredibly durable and virtually unbreakable, as they do not rely on elastic or rubber components that are susceptible to wear and tear. The Lyre suspension webs are available in five different varieties, offering flexibility and adaptability to your specific needs. They are also backward compatible and can be purchased separately to upgrade older suspensions. This modular suspension system is also suitable for small diaphragm condensers up to 120mm in length and 19-25mm diameter with a 3 Pin XLR connector. It includes a Rycote Pistol-grip with an integral XLR MarkII holder and boom adaptor (with 3/8" adaptor) for handheld or boom operation, enhancing its versatility. One of the standout features of this product is the inclusion of a Connbox, fitted to Medium Suspensions (Windshield Kits 1- 11). The Connbox significantly reduces handling noise and breaks the transmission path of cable-borne noise, ensuring the highest quality audio capture. For optimal performance, the XLR-5F 68 Duo Medium Modular Suspension utilizes ultra-soft, flexible Mogami cable and gold pin Neutrik 3-pin XLR's.
