Anthony C : Will this fit an Aston Spirit mic?Fred W : i bought this Rycote Universal usm-vb for my Aston Spirit, this does work on mine, but i did have to add a small amount of closed cell padding on 3 of the 4 prongs to get it tight and secure on the mic. Out of the box it was a little too big for the spirit, the next size down on the Rycote would be perfect. With the minor mod i made on mine it works great as well, go down a size in the Rycote for your spirit mic, but I love Rycote Shock mounts! I got the largest one because I use it on other Large diaphragm mics, so i wanted the versatility. Works Great! I see them in High end studios all the time,,,, hope that helps... thanks

The ultimate modern-era shock mount for quality condenser microphones.

While these aren't always easy to find, Adorama had it and shipped it quickly. I didn't want the typical elastic shockmount for my microphone. This thing is light, yet built well and I have no doubt it will last a long time; not to mention provide a lower noise floor than other alternatives. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. This is great!!

It?s all good

Rycote shockmounts are high quality and easy to use. The thumb screws make it easy to adjust and they hold your microphone securely. I?ve used cheaper shockmounts and had the elastic bands fall off and then had to deal with the nightmare of putting the thing back together, only to have it happen again. This is my second Rycote shockmount and I would gladly purchase a third if I had a need for another shockmount. Adorama has competitive prices and very good service. I always check Adorama when I?m researching and preparing to buy new electronics.

Rycote USM-VB Shock Mount will work with Samson G Track Pro (very tight)

I'm using the Rycote USM-VB to hold a Samson G Track Pro microphone. My 1st choice for mount was Samson's offering for this microphone, but it is always out of stock. I found The Rycote USM-VB recommended by another user of this mic and ordered it. The shock is of excellent quality and function, however it is a very tight fit for the Samson G Track Pro. I did get it to fit and I don't expect any problems.

Probably the most robust shock mount on the market. Very well-built and sturdy. Difficult to install Samson G Track Pro on it as it's very tight, but manageable.
