Don't expect this to work well on Tascam DR100.

Helps a little, but even moderate wind gets through. It does reject wind from head on, but wind comes in all directions. Wind from behind gets through very easy. To be fair this is because of the poor Tascam design. It is not possible to seal because of the irregular spaces and gaps on the body of the recorder. If Rycote had some kind of moulded rubber gasket it would help. But nothing like that exists. To eliminate wind from the Tascam DR100 the only solution I'm afraid is to mount the entire thing in a blimp.
